My journey to the hair industry has been fairly unusual. Here are just a few *fun* facts about me:
Enter Paul Mitchell - The School, Costa Mesa. From the first moment I walked in the door, I was completely entranced. And that was the start of a whole new career . . .
NOW you can find me at THE STUDIO in Corona del Mar (Newport Beach), which just openned its doors early this year.
- I have a bachelor's degree in psychology.
- I have worked the graveyard shift at Juvenile Hall.
- I have been involved in the music industry, which included putting together tour notebooks for nationally touring bands. I made sure they had directions, so they didn't get lost (before the internet). And for the bigger acts, I tried to get them something different than pizza for dinner every nite. Haha . . .
- I worked as a geriatric social worker for almost 10 years.
- I have always been a creative sort of person . . . Probably learned it from my mom. I have dabbled in beads, jewelry-making, crochet, paper-crafts, card-making, scrapbooking (I was even a Creative Memories Instructor for a while.), embroidery (yay Jenny Hart!), and the past 5 or 6 years I have fallen in love with estate sales because I love all things vintage.
